Calling the Lion(Leo)(evidence)

Within Judaism,the biblical Judah is the original name of the Tribe of Judah,symbolized by a lion.In Genesis, the patriarch Jacob("Israel") refers to his son Judah as a young lion.(Genesis 49:91) when blessing him.In Christian tradition the Lion of Judah represents Jesus. This phrase appears in the New Testament book of Revelation 5:5, "Do not weep. The lion of the tribe of Judah,the root of David, has triumphed,enabling him to open the scroll with its 7 seals." These are the messianic titles applied to Jesus Christ to symbolize His victory.
