The Ark of the Covenant

The Ark of the Covenant was described in the Old Testament(Exodus) as the tabernacle in which was the dwelling place of the Lord.God made an everlasting covenant with His people.He took us as His people and He our God.He commanded us to carefully observe the commandments,statutes, and decrees.He says that we will know I am the Lord your God when I free you from slavery and bring you into the land flowing with milk and honey,the land I swore as an oath to Abraham,Isaac, and Jacob(Israel)Our faithful God keeps his merciful covenant to 1000th generation toward those who love Him and keeps His commandments.(Exodus,Leviticus, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Deuteronomy)In Rev.12:11 New Testament,the Ark of the Covenant precedes"the Woman clothed with the Sun".The Woman is Mary,the blessed Virgin Mary,the dwelling place of the Lord Jesus Christ.If Jesus is the new Adam then Mary is the new Eve, the Woman of Genesis 3:15. An authentic Christian should embrace firmly all Sacred Scriptures and Sacred Traditions of the Universal Church. In Corinthians 11:2 St.Paul writes,"Hold fast to the traditions just as I handed them to you."Just as we pass down our family traditions so too must we pass down our church traditions..The Woman ,Mary represents Israel and the daughter of Zion,the nation from which the community of faith and obedience awaits the birth of the Messiah(Isaiah 66:7). Mary is the Mother Church.For at the Cross,Jesus gave John and us His own mother to be our mother also.(John 19:26-27)The Universal Church,the Catholic Church are the faithful disciples of Christ whom the dragon (Satan) in Rev.12:17 went to" make war with the rest of her offspring,who keep the commandments of God and bear the testimony to Jesus".I will tell about the Blessed Mother's powerful intercession as I continue writing about her.
