Listen to the Voice of God

When my Dad found himself unjustly in the judicial system, he had chose a friend lawyer to defend him.He was man chosen. But our faithful God provided a way out, an escape for him if we had only been strong in our faith and had listened to the voice of God. God sent me an expert lawyer,Lee Sexton who traveled the nation defending the falsely accused and winning his cases.I tried to convince my family to hire this lawyer that was God chosen and sent. But the decision had already been made. My family didn't listen to the voice of God and didn't depend on God and trust in Him and we weren't strong in our faith.The signs were there. In Colorado before moving to Ga. my 3 children were singing a song with the words" trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.Words sung at the children's summer bible program.I didn't hear the voice of God through my Children.God then led us to Ga. and an International Bible Study where I have been studying 7 books of the bible these past 7 years. BSF has been strengthening my family and me spiritually. If we had listened to the voice of God and trusted and depended on God,He would have directed our path just as the scriptures say and He would have proven his innocence,but God was and still is with us "Emmanuel" and sent us the best appellate lawyer,named Laura and her assistant Floyd(Laura also has the same name as my family member and Floyd is the name of the storm,the Hurricane that hit us in the Bahamas).Th Holy Spirit was leading me. Our team of lawyers did their best by revealing 10 errors made by the lower courts but couldn't overcome the broken system.The 3 appellate judges didn't listen.This has been a very fierce uphill battle that has been going on for 7 years.The only way this battle will be won will be through the power of prayer!
